Maselino Francis Masoe (born June 6 , in Apia, Western Samoa) is a retired Samoan boxer who was a representative of American Samoa at three Olympics beginning at the Summer Olympics. As an amateur, Masoe made history becoming the first Samoan boxer to take home the world’s top prize, beating Kenyan born Evans Ashira on May 1 in to win his regular WBA world middleweight crown in the second round of the Technical Knockout.
